ESTATE OLIVE OIL


 

2022 Extra-Virgil Olive Oil

The first vintage of Kipper Family Vineyard estate grown extra-virgin olive oil was produced on October 16, 2022. 

The mature olive trees on our Napa vineyard were hand-picked for two days producing a bumper crop of 635 pounds of primarily Mission olives.  Our vineyard manager, Oscar Reyes-Lopez, heavily influenced the 2022 abundant olive crop through several years of effective fertilizer, nutrients, and tree pruning.

On the second day of picking we transported our crop to the Olive Press in Sonoma, California.  Within three hours our olives were milled into 12.5 gallons of extra-virgin olive oil.

Tasting notes:  A clear and vibrant sunflower yellow in color, with flavors of fresh herbs, and fruit with a buttery and complex cracked black pepper finish.

Unfortunately, we have sold out. We look forward to sharing our 2023 olive oil next year.
